Higher frame rate = smoother motion and larger files. Lowest allowed is 10 fps; highest is 30 fps.
Higher bitrate = sharper detail, larger file. The grainy look comes from low bitrate.
Applies to JPEG and WebP. PNG is lossless and ignores this setting.
MP4 export uses the selected source-based resolution, frame rate, and bitrate. Browsers may treat bitrate as a target rather than an exact value, so simple ASCII footage can still produce smaller files. The app passes the selected bitrate into recording and FFmpeg transcoding when available.
